Crawly has been made for the SAE DACH Online Game Jam 2020 with a team size of 2 and the theme 'Infinity'.

This game is an endless 2D dungeon crawler where the player can find upgrades in chests and has to defeat mighty monsters.

Intro

Welcome to the infinite world of Crawly, a dungeon crawler game!

Your spaceship has crashed on an unknown mystical planet filled with dangerous creatures.
Your goal is to survive your fight through infinite dungeons!
No dungeon is the same, don't try to go back!

Gameplay and Controls

Move with WASD or Arrow Keys.
Aim with your mouse and shoot with the left mouse button or the spacebar.

Please note that every 10 rooms you progress into one direction from the center (0/0) will change its appearance and the difficulty factor.

If you get hurt by an enemy you can heal yourself by collecting Batteries which are randomly dropped by defeated enemies.

Battery

Defeated enemies have a chance of dropping Keys which are needed to open Chests.

Chests contain player upgrades which are randomly chosen and applied automatically.
