The 21st Century - A Companion AI Simulation

This simulation has been made for the  AI and Games Jam 2021 game jam and the theme 'Breaking the rules'.

Story

In the near future everyone will have their own companion who monitores the hosts needs and fulfills them but at which cost?
Can you escape the companion by breaking the rules?

Description

The player can freely move around with WASD, rotate the view by pressing and holding the right mouse button and zoom in and out with the mouse wheel.
Press ESC immediately to exit the game.

The companion (pink block) has an utility ai which continuously watches the players stats to fulfill all of the needs so the player will stay healthy and happy.
It does so by disabling the players controls, grabbing him and bringing him to the corresponding location.

Depending on the status of the player the companion ai tries to fight the enemies or to rescue the player.

The enemies (gray blocks) have a behaviour tree implemented. They try to attack the player if he is in range of their den.

All entities including the player move around on a navmesh.
