Student Project - Wormhole

About

This game has been made for the SAE Institute Game Jam.
It has been developed by a team of three over a period of three weeks (15.09. - 06.10.2020).
The themes we could choose from were 'Glitch' and 'Respawn', we chose both.
This game is a one of a kind space (rail-)shooter made with Unreal Engine 4.

Story

During your thrilling journey through an endless space you will face dozens of evil enemies which try to destroy you!
Are you ready to evade their shots and kill the mighty boss?

Controls

• WASD - Move your ship across the screen.
• C - Switch between third and first persion view.
• Left mouse button - Fire your primary weapon.
• Press and hold the right mouse button while aiming at an enemy to lock it as a target -> Release the right mouse button to fire your secondary weapon a homing missile.
• Q - Rotate your ship to the left.
• E - Rotate your ship to the right.

Cheats

• Fast press / spam Q or E to be invulnerable. (Thats a glitch!)

Known issues

• The music might stop after ~7 minutes of gameplay.
